More About Delara Dolatkhah
Born in 1985, Delara was raised in the Iranian capital of Tehran. She moved to the United Kingdom in 2010.
Throughout the years, it has become undeniably apparent that Delara Dolatkhah has consistently and wholeheartedly dedicated herself to providing steadfast support and guidance to others. Her primary aspiration has been to facilitate the establishment of stronger foundations for those she is supporting, enabling them to overcome the challenges and obstacles they encounter in their lives.
Amidst this journey, by carrying out a person-centred approach, Delara’s practice has consistently revolved around empowering individuals to make informed decisions by fostering the development of their self-esteem, self-concept, and confidence. Supporting clients to overcome trauma, narcissistic abuse, deception and perfectionism are key elements of Delara’s practice. As a result, individuals have undergone transformative experiences throughout their journeys, thereby experiencing profound positive change within their life.
Carrying out therapeutic interventions through her coaching skills and psychological knowledge to understand behaviours, patterns, and motivations presented by clients has allowed intervention strategies to be implemented. These have been carried out by universal groups in regard to the impacts of trauma and building resilience, with the intention of equipping clients to be encouraged to modify learnt negative behaviours and patterns of their life. Thereby clients can courageously take steps to change the environment surrounding them and break the cycle of abuse.
Carrying out therapeutic Interventions using the SDQ clinical assessment tool (used in many schools and clinical settings) has allowed outcomes to be proactively selected. Correct interventions are chosen for each client based on their goals. This is crucial to effectively allocate resources, catering to the specific requirements of each individual need.
The use of observation skills and the provision of support through creative arts and sand play has assisted communication with clients by creating a safe environment for them to express their true selves. Using observation skills and support to identify patterns in non-verbal cues and thoughts through art builds the therapeutic alliance.
